The Internet as most people know it is barely 15 years old, but in that time it has given birth to e-commerce and irreversibly disrupted the entertainment and media industries and broken down traditional business models.  The mobile Internet has been around for only a decade and that is having an even more profound impact on consumer behaviour.  But there is more, much more change taking place all the time and still to come.  Cloud services, superfast broadband over VDSL, fibre optic networks, 4G and LTE mobile networks, Near Field Communications, 3D printing, nano devices, eye controlled devices, holographic devices and media - the list literally goes on and on.  The impact of digital technologies on the creative industries is continuous and the pace of change is increasing.  We believe you cannot navigate the landscape in the creative industries without having an understanding of the road maps in technology and digital media.
